The Save The Grange Campaign Team

The Save The Grange Campaign Team was set up following the first public meeting on 27 June 2005, to campaign for the re-opening of The Grange Birth Centre, following the announcement that it was to close temporarily from 4 July 2005.

Our main objectives are to get The Grange reopened and fully staffed as soon as possible, and then to ensure that the centre remains open as a valuable resource for local parents.

We also hope to work with local midwives in the future to encourage more women to use The Grange for giving birth and post-natal care in order to take advantage of the health benefits that a community birth centre can bring.
